Q. How do I order online?

A. Simply click the Order Now or Continue button found on the order page. You may continue to add items to your basket until your order is complete. Click on the "cart" link or the shopping cart icon found at the top of the page to return to your shopping cart from any page on the site. Click the CHECKOUT button and enter your shipping and billing address. (Please note, the billing address must match the address where your credit card statement is sent.) Click the Continue button to choose your Shipping and Payment Methods. Review your order, then click the Place Order button to complete the order.

 

Q. How do I order by phone?

Q. Will I be charged sales tax?

A. Because our office is located in Texas,  all orders placed or being shipped to Texas are charged 8.25% sales tax. 

 

Q. What are your accepted Payment Methods?

A. All prices listed on our website are in U.S. Dollars. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept PayPal. For your protection, we screen credit card orders for potential fraud. Please ensure that your billing and shipping addresses are exactly correct, to avoid delays in order processing. Incorrect information may cause a delay in the processing of your order. Your order may also be delayed if additional verification of billing information is necessary.

 

Q. Do you accept Purchase Orders?

A. We do not accept purchase orders. We only accept pre-payment for orders.

 

 

Q. Can I make changes to my order?

A. If your order is still in the New status, we are able to make some changes depending on your circumstance. Please email us as soon as possible to make these changes. 

 

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. You may cancel an order as long as design work has not been started on your project or your Order Status is in the Processing stage. If we have already started your order, depending on the status and stage it is in, a partial refund may be issued. If three initial concepts have been presented, absolutely no refunds will be issued.

Q. Why do I need an Account?

A. Your account will provide you with additional features and conveniences, versus not having an account. The account will allow you to store multiple Billing and Shipping addresses, and you'll only need to enter this information once. The account will also store order history, showing previous orders you have placed using your account, as well as order status. You'll easily be able to access tracking numbers if you ordered a CD. Also, shopping carts that you have started but not completed are stored with your account, so you can retrieve them later.

 

Q. What is your Privacy Policy?

A. We take your privacy very seriously. We will never rent or sell your information to any third parties, we only use the information we collect from you to convey your order information, or to send you catalogs and e-mails at your request.

Logo Design

 

 

Q. How many concepts do I get?

Q. Can you recreate my existing logo in vector format?

A. Send us an email with a copy of the logo you need to recreate so that we may better understand the depth of your project.

 

Q. What file formats do you support?

A. We support the following types.

  • .JPG, .GIF, .BMP, .PNG, .EPS, .PDF, .PSD, .TIFF, .AI

Q. What software do you design with?

A. Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and sometime Macromedia Flash.

 

Q. Can you supply Vector format?

A. Yes. We supply your custom logo design in EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) as standard for no extra cost. This is a vector based file format used by print shops and it allows the design to be resized with no loss of quality.

 

Q. What is a logo revision?

A. A logo revision is tweaking a logo concept. You can mix and match logo concepts as you please, or change: font, color, symbols etc. These revisions are all Free as well.

 

Q. What about Copyright. Who owns it?

A. You do. We even supply it to you in grayscale so that you can register it at a trademark organization. You are however completely 100% responsible for any copyright issues that may arise as a result of using our logo design services. It is your responsibility to investigate any possibilities of copyright infringement. There are companies set up to help you do this. GetLogoSmart.com can not be held responsible for any issues that may arise after delivery is made.

 

Q. Can my logo have a see through background?

A. Yes. Your logo can have a transparent background. You will need to specify this at the time of ordering. Please also note that the quality of the finish is nearly always lower with a transparent Gif. We always include PSD, Tiff and JPG formats as well. It is often better to specify the correct background color as the quality is far higher than that of a transparent Gif if the logo is for web use.

 

Q. Can the background of the logo be any other color than white?

A. Yes. In fact, if you tell us the background color you want (preferably the HEX or Pantone number) or at least give us a sample to match against, then we will provide the new logo with that exact color background. You can give us this information at the time of ordering, or before the final formats are made.

We can also supply the logo with no background color at all. This is best for websites with colored backgrounds. This file format is called Transparent GIF.

 

Q. If I do not like the logo concepts...will you make me a new set?

A. It is extremely rare that you will not like any of your concepts. 

We suggest you give plenty of information on the order form so that we may represent your ideas. We are fair, honest and  want you to have a fantastic experience with our logo design service. 

 

Q. What will you ask me in the logo form?

A. You will only be asked specific questions concerning the nature of your logo design and your business contact information. Nothing too personal.

 

Q. How can you provide this service for such a low price?

A. We cut out the fancy studio, so there's no "middleman" to pay. Your logo comes straight from the designers, not from a Design firm. Same process, just no suits or shiny lights.

 

Q. You mention that I need to specify several things at the time of ordering...How can I do this?

A. The Logo Smart order form answers most of these questions for you. However, there is a section on the order form that allows you to give us any additional information. This is the area to make your requests for colors, file types, unique things we should consider when making your logo. It really is simple to complete. If you do get into trouble filling it out we are only a click away from providing you with support.

Q. What files do I get when I order a Logo?

Q. What can I use my new logo for?

A. The sky is the limit as far as uses go. The logo can be used for a website, off-line printing, embedding in documents, printing on T shirts, signs, banners, stationery, etc. The files we provide you will not limit you.

 

Q. Do you provide Color Separations or Camera Ready Artwork?

A. Yes, it is the eps file format that we send you as standard. The best thing for you to do is to make sure that the printer can produce the color separation file from the EPS file that we supply. We use Adobe Illustrator CS2.

Q. How long does it take to see the first logo concepts?

A. The first logo concepts can range from 3-4 business days, depending on how intricate your design is. Most concepts are delivered within 72 hours.

 

Q. When will I receive my Logo?

A. Once the logo has been approved, you should receive your logo files within 24hrs. If you are receiving a CD, your CD will be shipped within 24hrs of approval.

 

Q. How do you deliver my new logo?

A. All new logo orders are emailed to you in a ZIP file. If you do not have a Zip program on your PC we can send the files unzipped...just be sure to tell us. The best thing to do however is to download the free trial version of winzip from http://www.winzip.com. Most packages inlcude a CD in the mail with free shipping.

However, If your package does not include this feature, you may pay an additional $5 to receive your files on a CD if it is not included in your logo packages.

 

Q. Can I have my logo files placed on a CD?

A. Absolutely. In fact we highly recommend it.

 

Q. How much does a File CD cost?

A. With most packages, the CD is included.  However, If your package does not include this feature, you may pay an additional $5 to receive your files on a CD if it is not included in your logo packages. CD's will be shipped to the shipping address in your account unless you provide different instructions.
